Cleo M Person is a dancer, performer, and collaborative artist, passionate about opportunities to make connection through the gift of live performance. She has performed works of major modern and contemporary choreographers, most recently in Ohad Naharin’s Duet Mabul, José Limón’s Concerto Grosso at the Joyce Theater, and in the White Duet of Paul Taylor’s Roses. An ardent collaborator and community outreach enthusiast through platforms such as Artists Striving to End Poverty and the Gluck Community Service Fellowship, Cleo was awarded The Juilliard School's Joseph W. Polisi “Artist as Citizen” prize in 2016. While she loves the magic of the stage, her favorite places to dance and sing are in fields and meadows, on top of big rocks, and on her beloved California beaches, where she grew up.
